Need advice about marrying a Korean

engagedYou might feel pretty insecure that you would have to show your bank book, all the mutual funds and whatever you have invested in and also the picture of your house to your fiancée’s parents, but it’s just a normal thing that is done in Korea. The parents should be assured that there daughter will be happy. Its better not to marry her, if you have serious misgivings about person of any ethnicity or nationality. If she acts like a Korean, then you need the support and respect of her family because you don’t marry the girl, you marry the family.

However, these are the important factors that you must consider. Does your fiancée want to stay in Korea? Can she live away from her family? Would the parents eventually moving to your desired place be an option? There are lots of arguments that will come up. You must make sure that you talk about hopes and dreams for the future with your fiancée. Coming to money and stuff, Korean parents are more concerned that their daughter is well taken care of.

The most important thing to do is to ask yourself is this what you want for your life? After all it’s your choice.
