How short is too short in Korea?!

What to wear in Korea is certainly a big question for girls. What we wear is what defines us, and it’s important to feel comfortable where ever we are. But in Korea, women are quite conservative and very sophisticated. They dress up both in the office and when going out at night .But one should dress slightly more classy and show slightly less skin than you normally would.

Most girls wear shorts that are about knee length; however some of them wear really short ones. But, it also gathers a lot of disapproving frowns from their conservative culture. Short skirts are not a problem, but if the Koreans wear something short, they would carry a scarf to cover their knees when the sit. But one should avoid even the suggestion of cleavage. Showing bare shoulders are just marginally acceptable for women there. Light lacy jackets are usually worn over sleeveless garments or tank-tops. Even in a beach, Korean women prefer to wear a loose shirt .So according to them bikinis is out of the question. As long as what we wear is smart, clean, modest, and preferably rounded off with high heels, it would be wonderful. Make-up should be a part of your life in Korea. The only time you don’t wear makeup is when you are in bed.

Most Korean girls are relatively flat chested, so it would be hard to get the required size of clothes though one can get really cheap clothes there. Korean women are fond of High heels. They would wear shorts and high heels or even jeans and high heels. They would wear high heels with anything. But make sure you’ve got a comfortable pair of shoes to wear for work. Most teachers don’t sit down during class. Hard to digest or not, that’s how Korea is. So if you like to come to Korea, grab your shorts and heels.
