Kimchi is the number one Korean dish. It is served in almost every Korean restaurant and homes. Not only has it been a Korean traditional food, but also a healthy diet that provides us with vitamins, minerals, and lactobacillus (bacteria found in fermented products).
Yet despite kimchi’s benefit for health and its genuine taste, many people new to kimchi have found the diet too genuine. I personally had trouble eating kimchi too. In fact, I am still not a big fan of kimchi. However, there are a many kimchi meals that are not plain kimchi with rice. Here are a few of them that I personally enjoy and may be easier for new Kimchiers to try.

Dumpling with little kimchi inside
Fried kimchi (tastes good with any kind of meat or tofu for vegetarians)
Kimchi gratin
Although research says kimchi cooked in certain ways does not provide us with as much nutrient as the original kimchi, I believe this would be an easier way to become friendlier with a food never tried before.
