Things to do in Korea: 001 Go to a Jjimjilbang (찜질방)

Jjim Jil bangJjimjilbang are large public houses with heated rooms to suit yourself in. With many rooms of different temperatures, you can kill stress away by sweating in the room you choose to go to. They sell foods like boiled eggs, which is the most common jjimjilbang food, and shikhye, a traditional Korean drink (its sweet and has rice). Some places also provide wide screen televisions with movies or just plain television shows in the main room. After sweating in the heat, you can relax in a nice hot tub.

Basically anywhere in Korea

During the day 6,000-8,000 won
At night 8,000-13,000 won
